Last night in Maine

Well here it is, the moment I've been waiting for since I first got the call asking if I wanted to be a part of the Blue Kennels and Coastal Helicopters team! wow, I never thought in my wildest dreams that this would be what I was going to be doing after I graduated from COLLEGE! But here I am living one of my dreams, getting paid for doing something that I absolutely love to do! For those of you who do not know I will be living in Juneau for the summer (until Sept 15th) working on the Juneau Icefield as a guide, mushing dogs 5 days a week. Sleeping in a platform tent (yes I am crazy but most of you knew that already :-) ) working with 6 other people including my boss Rick who is part owner of Blue kennels with Sebastian (who won the Yukon quest and placed second in the Iditarod this year!) It is now 11:40 the night before I head out and I need to go close my eyes before I worry myself sick! leaving the house tomorrow morning to make my 1:45 flight out of boston! OMG here come the butterflies! I know its going to be amazing :-)
